"Another post-war luxury car in the 1:43 scale Oxford Automobile series is as seen here in the shape of the Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn. Produced at the companys Crewe works, it was the first Rolls-Royce to feature a factory built body and was first offered as an export model aimed at the American market in particular and did not hit the home market until 1953. During its production period from 1949 to 1955 only 760 were made, with a price tag of just over £4700. With four doors and the option of a 4-speed manual or automatic gearbox, the full-size luxury car was a bit heavy on petrol at 15 mpg and had an average top speed of 94 miles an hour.
For our launch model, the Silver Dawn comes in a rich maroon and black two-tone scheme with tan interior seating and flooring. External trim is finished in silver except for the wheel centre detail which takes on the maroon body colour. Even the wing mirrors have been given a chrome finish. Registered KKZ 8582, the Silver Dawn with its Rolls-Royce standard steel body represented the difference from its Bentley counterpart but collaboration between the two companies already existed and they would be intertwined for decades to come."

Shipping & Delivery
As an international mail order company, our focus is to get parts to our customers as quickly and economically as possible. Where possible we will try to provide a choice of shipping options.
Our database knows the weight of every part listed on our website. In the majority of cases this allows automatic shipping options for each order to be chosen at the checkout. Unfortunately, penalties will be imposed by all shipping companies if a parcel is particularly large in size compared to its weight, this is commonly known as “voluming out”. This means that sometimes we are unable to accurately quote shipping for orders until we have packed the parcel and confirmed the shipping cost.
Please be aware that import duties and taxes may apply in countries outside of the European Union. All duties and taxes are set by the Customs Authority of the destination country and, as such, we have no control over them. Please note that it will be the responsibility of the customer to pay all duties and taxes.
Our two most commonly used methods of shipment are by the postal service and UPS.
We do, however, hold accounts with most major international couriers so please let us know if you have a preferred courier or if you would like us to ship using an account you hold with a specific courier.
