"It’s never an easy decision to recycle the now, quite collectable, Bentley ‘S’ series and Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud models. However, this particular example was originally destined for conversion to a drophead model but proved totally unsuitable due to terminal corrosion of the chassis and related structural components. The running gear and most mechanical parts are still in good order and will be recycled in due course."
