“Residing in the yard of a Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialist is often a dangerous place to be. Such is the case of this 1987 Turbo R, one of the first models to feature the updated fuel injected system. The temptation for the specialist to ‘borrow’ a part or two from the car in question, in order to complete another job, is often hard to resist. When that happens, it’s inevitable that the process will be repeated until so many parts have been ‘borrowed’ that the car appears to be self destructing. Luckily, we’re on hand to complete the task and divert the remaining components to other deserving causes.”
