“When we are offered a vehicle that has been ‘used as a donor car’ we never quite know what to expect. When the car in question is a Silver Cloud, it certainly arouses our interest. Such was the case with this example which we simply could not refuse. Not keen on starting or driving, due mainly to a lack of engine and gearbox, the car does retain a number of valuable components, suitable for reconditioning, or sale as recycled parts. The photographs really do tell the whole story and help to explain why our recycling team are trying to avoid it. We will ensure they are suitably attired with the relevant protective gear, before we set them to work.”
