"Languishing in the corner of a Buckinghamshire garage, this is another restoration project that was never quite completed. In fact, other than removing the everflex roof, it wasn’t really started. Dating from September 1976, this is a late ‘flared arch’ Silver Shadow which was in fairly good shape when it entered the garage but, as ever, time has taken its toll. There is a fair amount of corrosion underneath, many components have been relocated to the luggage compartment, and it is now well beyond an economical restoration. We have managed to run the engine so that will live on in another more deserving example at some point in the future."
