“A Silver Spirit from 1983 finished in the always attractive colour of light Ocean Blue with contrasting Magnolia hide interior. Unfortunately, the owner was located in another country so has not spent much time with the car.

Appearing quite tidy initially, closer inspection revealed many problems. The list of things that don’t work is very extensive, hidden corrosion is rife, and the engine has poor compression and equally concerning low oil pressure.

Check out those attractive(?) wheel trims. Although now seized, they were originally designed to keep spinning, long after the car had stopped. Once popular with LA boulevard cruisers, we believe. Its fate is sealed and our recyclers await.”
