Flying Spares are delighted to bring you news of a highly significant range announcement. For the first time in our history, we have expanded outside of Rolls-Royce and Bentley by proudly introducing Flying Spares for Aston Martin.
As the world’s largest independent supplier of new, recycled, and reconditioned Rolls-Royce and Bentley parts, this is not a decision we have taken lightly. So, why now?
Our shift to Employee Ownership in 2020 demonstrated our unity and commitment to the future. Later this year we will move into our brand-new headquarters, just a few miles up the road from our current base in Market Bosworth. This state-of-the-art facility will give us the capacity to grow in a measured, sustainable way, providing customers old and new with our famous Flying Spares quality. The time is right to add a new classic British marque.
Why Aston Martin? When your current marques are Rolls-Royce and Bentley, the list of worthy contenders is rather short! Being a favourite of King Charles, and holder of a royal warrant, is a strong start. “One of the reasons I have been a huge fan of Aston Martin for 34 years is because I have always recognised that it is a real work of art,” the then Prince of Wales said on a visit to Gaydon in 2004.
Aston Martin has incredible motorsport pedigree, both historic and contemporary, notably returning to F1 in 2021. It also boasts one of the world’s oldest and largest owners’ clubs. Then, of course, there’s the James Bond connection. He might have driven a Bentley in the first 007 novel, but in the later books and films Bond is very much an Aston Martin man.
And so, to our new parts offering. The initial Flying Spares for Aston Martin range will consist of genuine, aftermarket, and OEM products for the 1994-2004 DB7, 2004-16 DB9, 2005-17 V8 Vantage, and 2009-18 V12 Vantage.
In terms of everyday service items, it includes air, oil, cabin filters, spark plugs, front and rear brake pads and discs, and commonly sought-after products such as radiators, switches, and sensors. In the coming months, we will expand and grow our overall parts offering for Aston Martin vehicles.
