We are delighted to announce the introduction of original equipment manufacturer brake master cylinders for Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud & Bentley S Type fitted with the dual-cylinder brake system.
Prior to April 1956 Bentley S Type (prior to VIN B245BC) and Silver Cloud (prior to SYB50) models were fitted with a single master cylinder which fed a single brake hose to each front hub. After these chassis numbers, all cars were fitted with the dual master cylinder system which fed twin brake hoses to each front hub.
The dual brake system operates with an upper and lower brake master cylinder. Each of the brake master cylinders is different and is not interchangeable. The upper brake master cylinder has a 1” bore whilst the lower brake master cylinder has a ¾” bore.
These brake master cylinders are precisely the same as those used when building these cars. However, they are sold under the part manufacturer’s brand, rather than Rolls-Royce or Bentley. OEM parts are considered premium quality and ours come with a market-leading three-year warranty.
