‘Today’s arrival came with a full-service history, original build sheet and only 77k original miles, and yet - as so often with these earlier spirits - is beyond economical repair.  This Jack Barclay-supplied 1981 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit was sold to us here at Flying Spares after it became financially unreasonable to repair, enabling us to put the much-needed parts back into rotation.

After hearing about the quoted cost of repairs, we were pleasantly surprised to see a rather clean example show up—albeit aesthetically. If you can look past the Mad Max inspired wheels and tires, you’ll see a rather straight-bodied, well-kept unit, which will certainly yield plenty of parts for more deserving causes.

The car has arrived here in Merry Lees and currently awaits its turn with Phil on the test ramp before being handed over to Martin and Finn to be recycled.’
