“Great plans were in place for this 1972 Silver Shadow but, as often happens, other projects took priority, and it was left untouched for a number of years. The storage conditions were not ideal, leading to extensive corrosion, particularly underneath, together with the usual mechanical issues which result from lack of use. Following assessment in our workshops, it was decided that recycling is the only sensible option but as interest in Silver Shadows continues to increase, it will provide many valuable parts for other more deserving examples.”
