Question: I have an 1988 Mulsanne S left to me. About 6 months ago the owner said the interior lights wont go off and the only instant solution I could give was to pull fuse B5 out for the interior lights and they wouldn't flatten battery. Now I have the car and are fixing things I decided to put the fuse back in and lights went off after delay 4 or 5 times was excited as thought I had fixed them .Sadly was a short lived fix and have had to remove fuse again .When I put fuse in the indicator flasher clicked so put another 3 point but older flasher unit I had in stock in but still the same problem, original is now back.Would love to know where the timer unit /Relay /or Flasher is that causes this fault. Is the timer in the flasher ? Remember something similar on my old Shadow in fuse box.
Answer: The delay unit is in the same area as the fuse box (has a small dial knob on it). This could be at fault, or possibly one of the interior light mircoswitches in the doors. I hope this has helped.
