Intermittent Cruise Control on my Bentley Turbo R

Question: I have a 1988 Bentley Turbo R when the cruise control tries to activate when it does it goes 100kmph and jumps in and out the stop switch connection is all clean would the problem be in the control unit or some other area

Answer: It is not uncommon for the ECU (UD26641) to be the fault so I would suggest check this, it is under the top roll normally by steering column.
