Trailing Arms

It is very common for the rear trailing arms seats that hold the rear road spring to collect water over time. This causes them to corrode from the inside.

We strongly advise during routine servicing that the condition of the seats is checked in order to avoid the spring forcing its way through a corroded cup - it does happen and very often whilst the car is being driven!

Our spring seat repair kits (SP08R & SP08L) offer a solution - allowing the pans to be cut out and replaced leaving the trailing arm bolted into the subframe.
